Athens Ballet Theatre
Athens Ballet Theatre is a civic nonprofit organization designed to offer serious dance students an opportunity to further their training in a professional atmosphere. It strives to enrich training and develop exceptional ability at an early age.

Athens Choral Society
Athens Choral Society has amassed a repertory of 180 or more works, and has presented an average of three free performances per year plus a summer fund-raiser. Concerts have included the giants of choral literature, such as Mendelssohn’s ELIJAH, Haydn’s CREATION, and Dvorak’s STABAT MATER, as well as works by relatively obscure composers such as Baldassare Galuppi and Amy Beach.

Athens Symphony Orchestra
Athens Symphony Orchestra is responsible for promoting an awareness of the Symphony, through educational projects and through the sponsorship of fund-raising events conducted on the Symphony’s behalf.

ATHICA - Athens Institute for Contemporary Art
Conceived as an alternative art space, the Athens Institute for Contemporary Art is dedicated to exhibiting challenging, provocative and innovative contemporary art in a non-commercial setting, solely for the cultural enrichment of the Northeast Georgia community. Visual artists are encouraged to create for the space specifically. Area writers, performance artists, musicians and other creative people are invited to bring events of an experimental nature to the space.

Athens Youth Symphony
Athens Youth Symphony provides orchestral training and performance opportunities for students in the Northeast Georgia area.

Ballroom Dance Club
The Ballroom Dance Club provides opportunities for social ballroom dance and instruction on the UGA campus and the Athens community. Offers many programs and events to the university (students, faculty, and staff) and local (everyone) communities.

Canopy
Canopy is dedicated to enriching the culture of our community and the lives of individuals through flying dance trapeze, movement education and performance arts. Canopy is a resource for local artists and all individuals, regardless of background, age, or physical ability, providing instruction in movement arts and a much-needed venue for viewing and participating in performances.

In the heart of downtown, The Classic Center is a meeting, special events, and performing arts venue providing entertainment, unique dining opportunities, and programs of all interests.

Contact Dance
Contact Dance fuses elements of partner dance, ballroom and theatre arts, CONTACT DANCE, seeks to entertain and enlighten audiences through quality dance exhibitions and community outreach.

Dancefx
Dancefx is dedicated to bringing professional quality dance and other cutting-edge dance forms to the Athens community while providing a continuing dance education and performance outlet for dancers and artists to express themselves creatively.

Film::Athens
Film::Athens was created in 2003 by a group of local filmmakers and film enthusiasts. It is a non-profit organization dedicated to promotion and support of production, exhibition and public awareness of film, video and digital media arts in the Athens community.

Georgia Museum of Art
The Georgia Museum of Art shares the mission of the University of Georgia to support and to promote teaching, research, and service. Specifically, as a repository and educational instrument of the visual arts, the museum exists to collect, preserve, exhibit, and interpret significant works of art.

Morton Theatre
The Morton Theatre has hosted countless performances. There is inconclusive evidence that such greats as Duke Ellington, Louis Armstrong, Cab Calloway, Jimmy Lunceford and Bessie Smith performed in the Morton. In recent times, The Morton Theatre has hosted Athens 441 and The Flagpole Music Awards. The Morton Theatre is owned and supported by the Athens-Clarke County Government; maintained by the Leisure Services Department, Arts Division; and managed by the Morton Theatre Corporation.

Oconee Youth Playhouse
Oconee Youth Playhouse produces three Broadway-caliber musicals annually. Their goal is to provide quality theater entertainment for the community and performing opportunities for local youth.

Rose of Athens Theatre
Rose of Athens Theatre, is a non-profit theatre company, producing vibrant professional works of theatre by cultivating a diversity of voices, through the exploration of various artistic disciplines, ethnicities, gender-studies, and religions in the city of Athens, Georgia and its surrounding communities.

Southern Creativity
Southern Creativity is about "grits 'n crits." Created by former UGA students/Athens area artists, Southern Creativity is an online arts community open to any 'Southern' artist who is interested in participating. Members post new work for feedback/critique, add to the collective gallery, post art news & exhibit information, and find calls for entry and other art opportunities.

Sprockets
Sprockets Music Video Competition features music videos from area filmmakers and bands. Winners will be screened and awarded during the flagpole music awards ceremony. See our website for call for entries information.

The Studio Group
The Studio Group is a collection of artists from the Athens, Georgia area who have formed to promote and exhibit their work.

Tate Student Center (UGA)
The Tate Student Center contains student organization and staff offices, an information desk, gameroom, art gallery, movie theater, National Student Exchange office, food service areas, a print and copy service, post office, business office, UGACard office, study lounge, TV lounges, and meeting, conference, and multipurpose rooms.

Town & Gown Players
The theater troop was formed in 1953 to support and encourage the growth of theater in the Athens community and in particular the Town and Gown Players, Inc.
