The Clarke County Democrats meet at 6PM every fourth Thursday of the month at the Courthouse in downtown Athens. Their meetings are open to the public.

Clarke County Green Party
The Athens/Clarke Green Party seeks to preserve Athens' unique heritage and character while fostering strong local entrepeneurs. Greens are fighting for less congestion and more trees. Their Party is dedicated to grassroots democracy. They believe power belongs in the hands of ordinary citizens, not big money interests.

The Clarke County Republican Party believes in the American Dream - the promise of Freedom, Liberty, Justice and the pursuit of Individual prosperity.

Common Ground Athens
Common Ground will maintain a library that will include resources such as books, magazines, journals, films and videos on topics including nonprofit development, fundraising, organizing, media skills, politics, legal issues and archives of Athens activism. Common Ground will also provide high-speed internet access, host film and music events, maintain an art space, and publish a quarterly newsletter. Common Ground will provide space for meetings and events, databases of media contacts, local organization contacts, progressive-friendly businesses and bands, granting agencies, a speakers bureau, and various technologies and materials (phone, photocopier, fax machine, scanner, etc.) for use by members.
